For mobile app usage (personal alerts and alarms):

• We do not require accounts for core personal alert functionality

  • Advertising identifiers

  • Behavioral analytics for advertising

3. Information We Collect (When Necessary)

We only collect information when required to provide specific features.

3.1 Account and Organization Data (Web Platform)

If you use the web platform or create an account, we may collect:

• Email address
• First and last name
• Organization/account name
• User role and permissions

This information is used solely to:

• Authenticate users
• Manage access and roles
• Provide account functionality

3.2 Group Alerts Data

When you create or participate in group alerts, we may process:

• Group name
• Alert messages, notes, and links
• Scheduled send times
• Group membership (anonymous identifiers, not personal identity)
• Delivery status (e.g., delivered, not delivered)

We do not require group members to provide personal identifiable information.

3.3 Technical Data for Notifications

To deliver notifications, third-party services may process:

• Device push tokens
• Delivery metadata

This data is used only to deliver notifications, not for tracking or advertising.

3.4 Payment and Billing Data

Payments may be processed by:

• Stripe (web platform)
• Apple App Store
• Google Play

We do not store full payment information.

We may receive limited billing-related data such as:

• Subscription status
• Transaction identifiers

4. Local Alerts and Alarms

All personal alerts and alarms (including messages, notes, and links):

• Are stored locally on your device
• Do not leave your device unless you use features that require server interaction

5. Calendar Access

If enabled:

• Calendar data is read locally on your device
• It is not sent to our servers

Exception:

If you create a group alert from a calendar event, only the necessary event data is stored to send that alert.

6. Group Alerts

Group alerts are an optional feature.

• Members can join without sharing personal identity
• No personal contact information (phone/email) is required
• Members can leave or mute alerts at any time

Group alerts are delivered via trusted third-party services, including:

• Expo Notifications
• Apple Push Notification service (APNs)
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)

These providers process limited technical data solely to deliver notifications.

7. Personal Backups and Data Restoration

You may optionally back up your personal data.

Backup data may include:

• Scheduled alerts
• Group IDs and names
• Joined group data
• Device identifiers

We do not store your Apple ID or Google account. Without your Apple ID or Google account, your data cannot be restored.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect data, including:

• Encryption where appropriate
• Access controls
• Secure infrastructure

However, no system is 100% secure.

9. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to:

• Provide the Service
• Maintain functionality (e.g., scheduled alerts, account access)
• Comply with legal obligations

You may request deletion of your account data where applicable.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because we minimize data collection, the Service is inherently privacy-protective.
